Hikari "Kari" Kamiya is Tai's younger sister who is the "Eighth Child" that joined the digidestined late in Series 1. She, unlike Tai, is bearable. I find her, however, TOO "mature" for her age in 01... Something about her annoys me in 01... I don't know what. In 02, she is independent and smart and is often the topic of argument between T.K. and Davis.
  Gatomon is a kitty Digimon who has a really cool Digivolution as Angewoman. Uhm... yeah... I dunno what else to say about her.

   Sora Takenouchi is level headed, sensible, and reasonable. She is the best female on the show (IMO, of course). She plays on Tai's soccer team, too. I haven't seen much of her character in 02 yet to judge her for it, so I won't.
  Biyomon is a cute little bird-ish Digimon who looks up to Sora. She high-spirited and often looks on the bright side of things. My favourite Digimon after Goma =)

   Yamato "Matt" Ishida is, in my opinion, very independent and somewhat a bossy person... In 01, he doesn't really take a great liking to Tai, so they are often fighting. They have resolved their differences, however, in 02, and are now good friends. In 02, Matt is the Lead singer (I believe) in his rock band, and his hair is longer, which I think doesn't really suit him, but oh well. Another char I don't care for much.
  Gabumon is Matt's Digimon who has an annoying voice (but not as annoying as Agumon's -.-;). He is, though, a very good and loyal companion. He looks sorta like Agumon with a dog's fur on him... =Þ

   Takeru "T.K." Takashi is Matt's little brother who lives with his mom (their parents are divorced / separated / whatever). He plays the "sweet, innocent, and cute" little kid in 01 and looks up to his brother. In 02, he's really cool =) He is the reason why Davis is so "protective" of Kari and is often referred to as "T.M" because Davis doesn't like him all that much... He's also traded in that massive green hat for a cute little bucket hat =)
  Patamon is not only T.K.'s playmate in 01, but is literally his guardian angel - he digivolves to Angemon =) Patamon is really cute too... he sorta reminds me of Pikachu with wings =) Oh yeah! And he flies with his ears! =)

   Koushiro "Izzy" Izumi is the brains of the group. He is VERY smart but, sadly, has his nose in his laptop so much that he sometimes doesn't realize what's happening. In 02, he had a MAJOR growth spurt... he's almost as tall as Tai! I liked him better in 01, though... In 02 he is often helping out the new guys. Yup.
  Tentomon is Izzy's ladybug-ish Digimon. He, unlike Izzy, doesn't really like computers and often just prefers to relax. He is most of the time trying to keep Izzy in this world and not in his own =) Tentomon is really funny too =) I like him =)

   Mimi Tachikawa is, in short, dense. But, she is sincere and trustworthy. She loves the colour pink and doesn't like getting dirty. In other words, she is the stereotypical female. Personally, I don't really like her... her voice REALLY gets to me... In 02, Mimi has moved to America and dyed her her hair pink with red streaks... not really suiting, IMHO. She, again, looks like how everyone portrays the American female... I don't like it. Nope.
  Palmon is a cool little plant-type Digimon. She and Mimi become the best of friends and Palmon has a cool Ultimate form as Lillymon! I think her digivolution to a cactus is pretty stupid tho... but a lot of people like it...Ah well. She's a cool digimon =)

   (Okay, so Joe doesn't know them well, but I wanted to put the new guys up...)
   Meet Daisuke "Davis" Motomiya , the headstrong (and often jealous) leader of the new Digidestined. He isn't very bright, but, like Tai, he is courageous and has a thirst for adventure. He doesn't really like T.K. (or "T.M.") because he thinks he's trying to move in on "his girl", Kari... He's funny too. I like him better than Tai.
  Veemon is Davis' smooth-talking and smart-alek Digimon. He has a really cool armour digivolution as Flamedramon. He's pretty cool too.

   Iori "Cody" Hida is quiet, introverted, and very mature for his young age. He is also very well-mannered. He and Joe had a "formal" introduction, so Joe knows him a bit =Þ His grandfather teaches kendo and told Cody that no problem is too big for prune juice ^-^; He is sorta like a cross between Joe and Izzy - "... now THAT'S a scary thought!" ( - Joe, Old Reliable )
  Armadillomon is Cody's southern-talking, easygoing Digimon - quite a jump from his rookie form of the hyperactive Upamon =) He armour-digivolves to Digmon with the Digiegg of Knowledge.

  Miyako "Yolei" Inoue is an outgoing, fun-loving girl who knows her computers. Her parents run a convenience store, where she often "buys" food for her friends... Yolei is really cool too =) I like her a lot =)
  Hawkmon is Yolei's British-accented Digimon who is very polite and watches out for Yolei. He's a cool digimon too. His Armour-Digivolution is Halsemon with the Digiegg of Love. He's really cool and is my favourite of the NEW digimon... Goma will ALWAYS be my fav Digimon =)

  Ken Ichijouji has recently become my second favourite character... ^^ He is a boy-genius who plays soccer. In the first half of 02, he was the evil Digimon Emporer who was influenced by the powers of darkness. Only when he was finally beaten and Wormmon "gone" did he realize the error of his ways. Ken has also joined the Digidestined and good golly, he's almost as adorable as Jyou-chan ^^
  Wormmon is Ken's ADORABLE Digimon who is soft spoken and quiet, kinda like Ken. Wormmon protects Ken from both himself and others. His trainee form, Minomon, is SO ADORABLE!!! Hee hee ^^ Yay!
